About Masters of Sunset

Masters of Sunset is a DJ-led live electronic act from Newcastle, blending House & Disco with the energy, spontaneity and musicianship of a live band.

Born out of Newcastle's vibrant music scene, Masters of Sunset is a DJ-led live electronic act led by DJ and trumpet player Johnny Gibson. The collective brings live trumpet, percussion, drums, guitar and vocals together with expertly curated electronic beats.
